Vineyard Dreaming

She rises from the Atlantic like a promise kept.
In Vineyard Dreaming, the beauty of Martha's Vineyard lives not only in the land but in her spirit. This Massachusetts island just south of Cape Cod becomes more than geography. It becomes testimony.
Her wide-brimmed hat blossoms into branches of pink cherry flowers that sweep across the sky, bending toward a golden sun. The wind does not disturb her. It crowns her. Her gaze is steady and knowing, luminous with quiet confidence. Gold hoops frame her face like small suns of their own, echoing the light above her.
Within her silhouette, a lighthouse stands firm. Harbor waters, sandy beaches, farmland, and coastal cliffs flow through her form as if the island itself has chosen her as its living map. Birds lift on either side, carrying the quiet truth that freedom must be claimed.
At her foundation, two figures walk the shoreline together, small against the sea yet steady in their path. They speak of legacy, belonging, and love carried forward.
Vineyard Dreaming is more than a reflection of landscape.
It is an invitation to rise, to belong, and to claim the horizon as your own.
About the Artist
Thomas begins the creation of his masterpieces with a blank black canvas, bringing instant depth and contrast to the art. Using white crayon or pencil, he sketches out what he sees in his mind's eye, what has been given to him in a dream or by the spirit of God. His inspirations come from all around him, from music and movement to life stories and current events. There is a magic behind the journey each piece takes from conception to completion, a journey that manifests itself at the final destination of the purchaser's wall. Layering elements of fabric, paper, and metal, Thomas infuses a variety of textures to match the intricate lines of his creations.
